The Wedding DJ's Role

As ‘your’ Wedding DJ, I will do and be the following:

• Masters of Ceremonies (MC or Emcee) at the Wedding Reception
• Event organizer along side with your wedding coordinator
• Lighting director
• Sound engineer

My Goal For Your Wedding

With an easy name and a simple logo comes my one and only goal…and that’s to make YOU happy. I want to be part of the successes for your wedding and ensure that the night ends spectacularly and memorably.

My Expectation

This is simple too. Like many of my DJ colleagues, we may have the same goals and play the same music but we may not have the same personalities. So my expectation from potential clients, is to select a DJ that fits for you. You have to trust your DJ to perform, and perform well, for your wedding. Hiring a DJ that fits your personality will ensure a perfect event.

About You and Your Wedding

Now that I’ve told you about me, there’s one thing that I didn’t mention…it’s my listening skills. Your wedding is about YOU…so share with me how you vision your event to look and feel. This is YOUR night and everything about this is about YOU. I always tell people that the DJ controls the event but really, he controls it with YOUR direction.

Like what you’ve seen so far?

In our initial meeting, you can tell me how you’re envisioning your wedding and what you expect from a wedding DJ. In the event that you hire me, I will send you wedding planning links to help me fulfill those expectations of yours. Along with your coordinator, these links will help with the flow of events (formalities such as the wedding toast, your First Dance, the weddingh cake cutting, etc.) It’s the map, game plan, for the evening.

And as your special day approaches, I would like to have a final meeting to finalize all those details of song selections for your special dances, names of your wedding party, etc.

But from the time you hire me to the day-of your event, you can contact me any time for any questions that you may have. “Don’t have a first dance song?” “Don’t know when do to the wedding toast?” “Have a song in mind but don’t know the title?” Call me, I can give you suggestions. I have done literally hundreds of weddings across San Diego and the rest of Southern California.
